sol devil membership

what does it take?

The Sol Devils are a private athletics booster organization. While we maintain extremely close ties to the Arizona State University Athletics Department, it is important to know that we are an independent organization with our own board of directors, bylaws and budget.

We are often asked what it takes to become a Sol Devil. At a very minimum, the following:

• Be a football season ticket holder
• Be a sizable donor to the athletics department
• Be sponsored by two active Sol Devils

The Sol Devils have a self-imposed maximum membership of 90, therefore the application process can be extremely competitive as there are limited spots available. If a donor meets all of the above qualifications, they may apply for membership but their acceptance will be based on the strength of their application relative to the other applicants. Applications are reviewed by our membership committee and are voted on by our board of directors.
